The Saint Louis Chess Club presents our first adult-only (Ages 18 and up) improvement workshop/tournament combination. Led by Grandmaster Denes Boros, participants will receive personalized instruction across lectures, breakout training groups, and game analysis. In addition to workshop sessions, attendees engage in a 3-round USCF Standard Rated Tournament, with the victor receiving a commemorative board signed by GM Denes Boros. All participants receive an end-of-workshop assessment for further direction on improvement. Regardless of your rating level, the Chess Improvement Clinic offers a direct path to honing your chess ability.

Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz
The world-class Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz tournament will take place directly following the camp from August 12 through August 16. Grandmaster Denes Boros headlines in-person commentary for the event with post-round interviews from participants such as GM Fabiano Caruana, GM Wesley So, and GM Levon Aronian. Extend your stay and see the world's best chess players battle for a prize fund of $175,000!
